H.P. Gower Solicitors are currently working on a number of high profile cases. Below are a few examples of the cases that have been dealt with by our solicitors recently:
Operation Navo – Southwark Crown Court (March 2021) – Sundeep is instructed in this case in which the Defendant is charged with various offences of "phishing" linked to the Coronavirus pandemic
R v LP – Central Criminal Court (August 2021) – Stuart is instructed in this case in which the Defendant is charged with two murders in Westminster
R v ET – Central Criminal Court (October 2021) – Sundeep is instructed in this case in which the Defendant is charged with attempting to murder his wife after stabbing her eight times before trying to kill himself.
Operation Intern - Reading Crown Court (November 2021) – Stuart is instructed in this case where the Defendant is charged with the murder of a retired police officer. The Defendant is also wanted in Poland to serve 14 years out of a twenty five year sentence for murder
Operation Monsoon – Inner London Crown Court (November 2021) – Sundeep is instructed in this case where he represented three of five defendants alleged to have been involved in knife point robberies on the DLR network
R v D – Central Criminal Court (December 2021) – Stuart is instructed in this case where the Defendant is charged with the murder of a thirty one year old in Surbiton.
Encrochat cases – Various Courts Stuart and Sundeep are instructed in a number of cases involving Encrochat evidence following Police infiltration of the network in March and June 2020. The cases range from conspiracy to murder to large scale serious drugs offences and possession of firearms
Operation Ajak – Woolwich Crown Court (June 2019) – Rashmi was instructed in this case which involved an investigation led by Lewisham Police’s Proactive Serious Acquisitive Crime Unit into an increase in dwelling burglaries & theft of motor vehicle offences in the south of Lewisham borough in the early part of 2017. Our client received a non-custodial sentence.
Operation Furtum – Kingston Crown Court (July 2019) – Stuart is instructed in this large scale cross border investigation into a series of commercial burglaries where high value goods were stolen by members infamous Romanian Organised Criminal Gang
Operation Labootin – Kingston Crown Court (October 2019) – Sundeep is instructed in this case involving thirteen defendants charged with conspiracy to supply multi kilogram quantities of class A drugs
Operation Kerataka - Southwark Crown (December 2019) – Stuart and Sundeep are instructed in cases arising out of this investigation which was investigated by the Crime Squad targeting the supply of Class A in the West End of London.
Operation Agile – Maidstone Crown Court (December 2019)- Sundeep is instructed in this case investigated by Trident and the Operation Raptor (Gangs and County Lines Targeting Team) relating to the supply of class A drugs in Kent
Operation Hansomil - Isleworth Crown Court - (March 2019) – Sundeep is instructed in the case of a defendant charged with county lines dealing of class A drugs in Swindon, Wiltshire.
R v S – Uxbridge Youth Court (January 2019) – Sundeep was instructed in this case involving a serious assault on the former British ambassador to Sir Christopher Meyer. The Defendant received a non-custodial sentence - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-44806139
Operation Topanga – Snaresbrook Crown Court – (February 2019) - Stuart is instructed in this undercover Police test purchase operation for which deployments took place between 25/10/2018 and 10/01/2019 in Hackney.
