Operation Vouch – Southwark Crown Court (2018) Sundeep is instructed for two out of ten defendants in a case which relates to an investigation into investment fraud that has targeted elderly and vulnerable victims by means of cold calling with the offer of worthless investment opportunities. The total loss to victims is calculated to be in the region of £3 million. The period of investigation is between late 2014 and Spring 2016.

Operation Doshio – Isleworth CC ( October 2017) – Sundeep is instructed in this multi handed case involving mass disorder on the White City Estate between rival gangs involving numerous knives and other weapon as a result of which one person was stabbed.
Operation Beetle - Harrow Crown Court (August 2017) – Sundeep is instructed on behalf of one of four defendants charged with fraud in a DVSA prosecution which relies on covert surveillance of MOT garages in Romford where the defendants are alleged to have fraudulently issues MOT certificates
Operation Tamora - Isleworth Crown Court (August 2017) – Stuart and Sundeep were instructed in several cases involving Trident Central Gangs Unit pro active investigations into drug dealing and weapons offences prior to the Notting Hill Carnival 2017.
Operation Dardanelle – (Birmingham Crown Court – July 2017) - The firm is instructed in an investigation into the large scale importation and distribution of non-UK duty paid cigarettes and tobacco products by a West Midlands Organised Crime Group and the associated money laundering of the proceeds of this criminality.
R v G – (Wood Green Crown Court – July 2017) Sundeep is instructed by a mentally unwell defendant charged with the attempted murder of his father
Moldova – v- G x 2 – Westminster Magistrates’ Court- 2017 – Sundeep successfully represented two Requested Persons in extradition proceedings relating to extradition requests to Moldova raising a substantial risk of an Article 3 breach in opposition to the extradition
Operation MINGXI – (Isleworth Crown Court – January 2017) – Sundeep is instructed in this case involving allegations of possession of a firearm and aggravated burglary involving a well-known rap group. Involved extensive cellsite and voice recognition evidence.
Nigeria – v- I (Westminster Magistrates’ Court - 2016) – Sundeep successfully acted for this Requested Person in the first Nigerian extradition request dealt with by the UK Courts obtaining a discharge for want of a prima facie case.
Operation Glorious – (Croydon Crown Court – December 2016) – Sundeep is instructed in this case in which he represents a defendant is charged with various offences including conspiracy to steal and commit burglary involving the sale of the proceeds of the offences to undercover police officers in the value in excess of £150,000.

Operation Newbarn - Stuart is instructed in this case involving two young (out of three) defendants charged with the murder of Syed Jamanoor Islam
Operation Plougastel – Central Criminal Court (ongoing 2016) - Sundeep is instructed in this “live kidnap” case involving allegations of false imprisonment, Kidnap, assault occasion grievous bodily harm and blackmail
Operation Mainsforth – Woolwich Crown Court (October 2016) Stuart represented this defendant in a multi-handed murder trial in which our client was charged with perverting the course of justice. Complex cut throat defence in which the lead defendant blamed our client for the murder
UAE – v – WG (Westminster Magistrates’ Court, 2016) – Sundeep was instructed in this case before the lower Court involving a conviction for a £1.2 million cheque fraud and a three year prison sentence. A number of bars were raised and expert evidence gathered following which the IJA conceded that the offence in the Extradition Request was not an extradition offence for the purposes of the Extradition Act 2003 and the Requested Person was discharged.
Canessa – v- The Republic Peru [2016] EWHC 914 (Admin): Sundeep acted in this first consideration by the Divisional Court of extradition of the Human Rights implications of extradition to Peru.
Iasi Tribunal – v- Marius-Ionut Pascariu - [2016] EWHC 124 (Admin) – Having successfully represented the Requested Person in the Magistrates Court (when the case was discharged by the DSDJ) Sundeep successfully defended the case on appeal by the Judicial Authority. The case dealt the difference of approach by the High Court dealing section 2(6)(b)and speciality and considered the case of R (Echimov) v Court of Babadag, Romania [2011] EWHC 864 (Admin) and Flaviu-Daniel Presecan v Cluj-Napoca Court, Romania [2013] EWHC 1609 (Admin).
Ludovit Socha – v- (1) District Court in Ostravia; (2) Westminster Magistrates’ Court & (3) NCA [2016] EWHC 139 (Admin) – Sundeep acted in this appeal against an extradition decision and refusal by a District Judge to issue a witness summons against an NCA officer in relation to a domestic investigation overlapping with the allegations in the European Arrest Warrant.
Kotic v Poland [2015] EWHC 2907 (Admin) Sundeep acted in this part allowed appeal against an order for extradition, pursuant to a ‘conviction’ European Arrest Warrant (EAW), issued by Poland to the United Kingdom to Poland, concerning Wojciech Kotic. Mr Kotic was convicted in Poland of two offences. For the first offence, the High Court held that the dual criminality test had not been satisfied, and a discharge was ordered. However, the High Court dismissed Mr Kotic’s appeal with respect to the second offence.
R v M (Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court): Sundeep acted for this defendant who was one of two charged with dishonestly rail firms out of £6,000 by claiming compensation for more than 150 delayed trains they never took (see http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3442324/Couple-conned-rail-firms-6-000-claiming-compensation-delayed-trains-never-took.html)
R v J and J - Central Criminal Court (2015) – Sundeep was instructed in relation to both defendants who were charged with blackmail where the allegation was entrapment and blackmail of a convicted paedophile. This was the “The Paedophile Squad” case.
Operation Blue – Southampton Crown Court (2014/2015) – John successfully defended the defendant in this conspiracy to supply class A drugs in the Andover area. The client had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class B drugs and his co-defendants had all pleaded guilty to all charges.
Operation Augora – Woolwich Crown Court (2015) – Sundeep is instructed in this allegation of conspiracy to supply class A drugs from a bar and restaurant in Deptford. The case involves underground surveillance by Police and very large amounts of CCTV evidence.
Operation Parinda (2015) – Rashmi is instructed in this Trident Central Gangs units investigation into conspiracies to supply Class A and B drugs in the London Borough of Lambeth involving the “TN1”, “67” and “New Park Runners” gangs. Involving voluminous undercover officer, mobile phone and cell-site evidence.
R v B K & Ors – Southwark CC (April 2015) – Sundeep represented a defendant in this case described by the Crown as “an audacious and sophisticated ruse” by BK and others to sell a £1 million house out from under a complainant without her knowledge. Operation Windmill – Isleworth Crown Court (July 2015)- Sundeep represented two defendants in this proactive operation in to a number of brothels at various locations in West London. Both defendants received non custodial sentences following guilty pleas.
Operation Birkhill – Sundeep is acting for a defendant charged with conspiracies to traffick women into and within the UK and to run a brothel in what has been describe as a highly organised, sophisticated criminal network concerned in trafficking women into and within the UK for the purposes of sexual exploitation.
R v C – Blackfriars Crown Court – Sundeep is acting for a defendant charged with criminal damage to the London Underground and National Railway property in the form of graffiti. The total value of the damage alleged is in excess of £110,000
Q v A & Y, High Court of Justice, Queens Bench Division - Sundeep successfully acted for Y in this case in which Q sought permission from the High Court to bring committal proceedings for contempt. After successful negotiation with Q prior to the permission hearing Q consented to Y’s discharge from the permission application. By comparison Permission was sought and granted against A.
R v B & C, Wood Green Crown Court - Sundeep successfully defended two defendants (including the first defendant on the indictment with alleged links to the Russian Mafia) in a case involving allegations of serious assault, false imprisonment and the use of firearms including an AK47 assault rifle.
R v G, Blackfriars Crown Court - Stuart successfully acted for a defendant charged with money laundering and possession with intent to supply class A drugs following the death of her partner at a party.
R v L, Snaresbrook Crown Court – Alex acts for a defendant charged with manslaughter in case a that started as an assault in the street. The case is likely to include complex causational issues.
R v G, Croydon Crown Court – Alex acts for a defendant charged with people trafficking in relation to allegations that the trafficked persons were kept as slaves in the United Kingdom.
Operation Duckweed – John successfully acted for a defendant charged with violent disorder arising out of a large scale incident of public disorder on the night of 10 November 2012 in a football match between Crystal Palace and Hove and Albion
R (on the application of James Killick v West London Magistrates' Court [2012] EWHC 3864 (Admin) – Sundeep was instructed in this case to challenge the decision of a District Judge who refused to re-open a guilty finding made in absence after psychiatric evidence was provided confirming he was unfit to plead or stand trial. The Divisional Court allowed the claimant's application for judicial review of the defendant's decision to dismiss his application to reopen his conviction as the decision to dismiss that application had not been one reasonably open to the judge.
Inquest touching upon the death of Chevonea Kendall Bryan – Sundeep was instructed to represent ‘E6’ as a properly interested party in this inquest into the high profile death of Chevonea Kendall Bryan. E6 was arrested for conspiracy to rape and manslaughter of the deceased following her death. The Police investigation led to no further action being taken against ‘E6 ‘ in which Sundeep was also instructed.
Operation Grissino, Harrow Crown Court – Sundeep is representing two defendants in this investigation conducted by the Central Gangs Unit attached to Operation Trident targeting Class A drug dealers around Kilburn. One of the defendants is charged with two conspiracies to supply class A drugs. The case involved under-cover Police deployments and covert surveillance.
Operation Merou, Harrow Crown Court – Sundeep is currently instructed in a case investigated by the Flying Squad in which his client is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery in a cash in transit robbery.
Operation Abracadabra, Guildford Crown Court – Stuart represented a defendant in a thirteen handed conspiracy to supply Class A drugs case involving undercover police deployments and covert surveillance. Although convicted the defendant was the only defendant to receive a non-custodial sentence.
Metropolitan Police v Q, Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court – Stuart represented this defendant in a Sexual Offences Prevention Order application. The same defendant was alleged to have breached an Interim Order and although convicted in the lower court Stuart successfully appealed the conviction at the Crown Court.R v C, Isleworth Crown Court - Stuart represented the wife of a celebrity chef.
R v C, Guildford Crown Court – Tim Bittlestone represented a well-known musician at trial in a case which attracted significant media interest.
Operation Overfall, Kingston Crown Court - John Kaye is instructed on behalf of a defendant in this long term investigation of an Organised Crime Group in Slough. This is a pro-active investigation during which seven men were arrested and 81 kilos of Heroin seized with a street value of approximately £8 million. The defendant which John represents was identified at the time of the original trial in 2010 but was only arrested in 2013 on a European Arrest Warrant issued by the Westminster Magistrates’ Court. In this unusual case the defendant will now be tried alone.
R v N - Stuart successfully dealt with the case of a bus driver alleged to have sexually assaulted a fifteen year old girl on his bus. The Crown eventually offered no evidence against D following representations from Stuart.
R v D – Sundeep dealt with a youth arrested on allegations of manslaughter and conspiracy to rape a young girl who infamously jumped to her death in South London. Following a protracted investigation and various interviews the Crown Prosecution Service decided to take no further action against D.
Operation Yanan - Sundeep successfully dealt with the case of a Serco Court worker charged with misconduct in a public office and related to the smuggling of drugs and phones into inmates in custody The matter went to trial and the client was unanimously acquitted.
R v J – Stuart successfully defended a client who was under duress when caught smuggling drugs in to a London prison. The client was unanimously acquitted.R v R - Stuart is currently dealing with the case of a defendant charged with conspiring to possess articles for the use in fraud. This relates to the finding of a “credit card factory” at an address to which the defendant has access.
Operation Withern – Both Sundeep and Stuart dealt with cases arising out of the summer 2011 London Riots. These included allegations of making a bomb hoax, burglary, handling stolen goods and violent disorder. These were dealt with in the Youth Court, Magistrates’ Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal.
Operation Rize & Forego – Sundeep is currently dealing with a serious multi handed multi-jurisdictional case involving allegations of conspiracy to conceal the proceeds of crime and obtaining property by deception. Sundeep successfully exercised his Higher Rights of Audience to secure bail for the defendant at the Crown Court.
Operation Victory – This case concerns large scale disorder amongst Albanian youths fighting on the streets of London culminating in two people being stabbed, Sundeep is representing the youngest of the group against serious allegations of violence and disorder.
